Kaylin Padovano, LMSW
About
As a NY and NJ Licensed Master's Social Worker, I have experience working with adults of all ages in individual and group settings; specializing in individuals impacted by trauma. I use a variety of modalities, including CBT, mindfulness, client-centered therapy and body-based approaches.
My practice focuses primarily on adults struggling with anxiety, depression and PTSD with a specialty in working with survivors of interpersonal violence and identity-based trauma. I create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore emotions, understand bodily responses, gently work through defenses, and build healthier ways of coping and relating.
Through client-centered therapeutic approaches I aim to help people overcome trauma, loss, and other emotional challenges by tapping into their innate resilience and healing abilities. In addition to my clinical experience, I also have a background in serving diverse populations and building safe and inclusive communities. I empower clients to challenge dominant narratives, validate the impact of systemic harm, and reclaim their stories through resilience, identity-affirming practices and community-care.
Whether you identify as a survivor of abuse and/or trauma, or are looking to develop skills to better cope with the everyday stressors of life, together we can create a safe, supportive environment to grow and heal.
