Succeeding with ADHD - Module 2: Self Regulation & Emotional Attunement
This 8-week group offers a supportive and depth-oriented space for adults (18+) ready to explore the emotional and relational side of ADHD, including rejection sensitivity, emotional flooding, shame, and the impact of ADHD on relationships at home, in friendships, and at work.
Through a blend of psychoeducation, nervous system regulation tools, and group processing, participants will examine how ADHD shapes their inner experience and learn evidence-based skills for navigating intense emotions, building self-compassion, and communicating more effectively in their closest relationships. Weekly 60-minute sessions focus on emotional awareness, RSD and inner self-talk, distress tolerance, dysregulation versus trauma responses, romantic and family relationships, friendships and loneliness, and workplace communication.
By learning and processing in community, members gain language for their experience, develop more sustainable ways of regulating, and build relationships with themselves and others that feel honest and steady.
