Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and French, I have worked extensively with the Latinx and Hispanic communities and specialize in helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD as well working with the deaf and hearing impaired population, bringing culturally competent care to an underserviced population in American Sign Language (ASL).
My primary focus is to establish a client's needs and to build a foundation of trust and understanding, enabling the therapy journey to occur at the client's own pace, with encouragement and support . I have a collaborative, client centered style, and help the client identify their short-term and long-term goals. My goal is to empower clients to exercise the power of choice and intention in their lives.
