Ilana Orange, LCSW
About
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New York, providing trauma-focused therapy for those dealing with the lasting effects of abuse, anxiety, grief, and relationship difficulties. I practice with a deep respect for each client’s pace, experience, and goals. I specialize in working with women who are processing trauma, stress, or anxiety, often rooted in complex personal histories. It's my aim to create a safe therapeutic space where you can bring up anything.
With advanced training in EMDR, IFS, ACT, and DBT, I support clients in working through painful memories and emotional challenges in manageable, tolerable steps. My approach begins with understanding how you prefer to engage in therapy - whether you value structure or space, logical exploration or emotional presence - so we can work together in a way that feels safe and empowering.
I am a Doctor of Social Work with degrees from NYU and USC and am EMDR-trained. My clinical style is relational, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based methods. Whether you’re ready to dive into the roots or simply seeking support for what you’re facing right now, I'll help you build a realistic, personalized treatment path - one that honors your experiences and leads to healing.
