Shania Sekhon, MHC-LP
I am a MHC-LP, practicing in New York State. I provide individual and couples therapy both in-person and virtually. I am passionate about working with young and middle-age adults, typically working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, relationship and family difficulties, self-esteem issues, OCD, depression, and trauma. I also provide diagnostic evaluations and testing to provide clarity and guide treatment for clients who are searching for answers as a result of experiencing difficulty in various areas of their life.
Tanya Yajnik, MHC-Intern
I am a Mental Health Counseling Intern practicing in-person, and via telehealth, in NY. I work with individuals, couples, and families. My therapeutic style is holistic and integrates several evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Feminist Therapy. I find myself drawn to working with women of color who struggle with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) or complex trauma. In the past, many of my clients have been identified as highly sensitive (HSP) or neurodivergent.
