Tanya Yajnik, MHC-LP

I am a Mental Health Counselor with a Limited Permit, practicing in-person, and via telehealth, in NY. I work with individuals, couples, and families. My therapeutic style is holistic and integrates several evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Feminist Therapy.  I find myself drawn to working with women of color who struggle with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) or complex trauma. In the past, many of my clients have been identified as highly sensitive (HSP) or neurodivergent.
