Hadassah Tolub, LMSW
About
I specialize in working with clients navigating anxiety, self-esteem and relationship difficulties, particularly those experiencing stress inducing life transitions.
Another area of expertise includes supporting individuals living with chronic illness or pain as they navigate the impact these experiences can have on identity, relationships, and trust in their bodies.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, and empowering. I believe that each person comes to therapy with their own experiences, strengths, and goals, and my role is to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, navigating a major transition, or trying to better understand yourself, I strive to create a space where you feel supported, challenged, and understood.
My work is informed by Client-Centered Therapy, CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Strengths-Based approaches. I do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I work collaboratively with clients to find the tools, strategies, and style of support that best fit their needs and goals.
For clients who find it meaningful, I also enjoy incorporating faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process exploring how values, and meaning-making impact identity and goals in life, and help clients draw strength and purpose from their beliefs and communities.
Above all, I believe that no one should have to navigate life’s challenges alone. My goal is to help clients build confidence, develop greater trust in themselves, and feel more equipped to take the risks that allow them to grow into the people they want to be.
