Using Gottman principles and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), I work with the couple to unravel the lingering resentments that have been weighing the couple down and build a more resilient partnership.

I am Hollin Hanau, a Mental Health Counselor with my Limited Permit, practicing in New York State. I most often work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, challenging family dynamics, and childhood trauma. My approach is also rooted in client-centered therapy, which means that my clients are at the heart of the therapeutic process. I am EFIT (emotion-focused individual therapy) trained and I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to foster healing and growth.
