I am a Mental Health Counseling Intern practicing in-person, and via telehealth, in NY. I work with individuals, couples, and families. My therapeutic style is holistic and integrates several evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Feminist Therapy. I find myself drawn to working with women of color who struggle with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) or complex trauma. In the past, many of my clients have been identified as highly sensitive (HSP) or neurodivergent.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Physician Assistant providing care to adults navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood-related concerns, and other mental health challenges. I also work closely with individuals during pregnancy and the postpartum period, including those who are nursing, with a focus on perinatal mental health and the unique emotional and physical transitions that occur during this time.
Rachel Briks, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in New York. My areas of specialization include perimental health and reproductive psychiatry, including titrating medications that are safe to take during pregnancy, pregnancy loss, postpartum anxiety and depression, and psychiatric care related to infertility and IVF care. Additional areas of focus are ADHD, OCD, PTSD, treatment resistant anxiety and depression.
