Gabriel Lobo-Berg, MHC-Intern
I am an MHC-Intern, practicing in New York State. I provide services via telehealth and am passionate about working with people of all racial, ethnic, and national backgrounds as well individuals from the LGBTQ+ community. I use Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) techniques and Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques, and have a fascination for existential psychology and philosophy, so if you are the sort of person who finds themselves questioning the meaning of life and things of that nature, I am someone who would be excited to explore those issues with you and provide support in guidance in the pursuit of self-expression and identity exploration.
Tanya Yajnik, MHC-Intern
I am a Mental Health Counseling Intern practicing in-person, and via telehealth, in NY. I work with individuals, couples, and families. My therapeutic style is holistic and integrates several evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Feminist Therapy. I find myself drawn to working with women of color who struggle with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) or complex trauma. In the past, many of my clients have been identified as highly sensitive (HSP) or neurodivergent.
